Women’s rugby world champions are coming to Salford

Salford hosted four Women’s Rugby World Cup matches last summer and now we’re welcoming the champions themselves!

England’s women’s rugby team, the Red Roses, will take on Australia at CorpAcq Stadium on Saturday 12 September. The match will open England’s WXV Global Series campaign and is their only fixture in the North West.

It will be the Red Roses’ first-ever match in Salford, giving you another opportunity to enjoy world-class women’s rugby right here in the city.
