Wild Things

A colourful pop‑up book illustration with the words ‘Wild Things’ emerging from jungle foliage, surrounded by animals including an elephant, lion, giraffe, penguin, pig, fox, hedgehog and a whale, set against a purple background.

Little imaginations can run wild at Lowry this summer!

Wild Things is a new free exhibition that will take young children and their families on a fun‑filled animal adventure through some of the most loved stories of all time.

From beloved classics including Elmer, Dear Zoo, Owl Babies, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, to new favourites, including Time for Bed, Fred!, The Steves; and The Great Unicorn Rescue, the exhibition brings together stories that generations of families love, alongside almost 100 original illustrations by Axel Scheffler, Nick Sharratt, Helen Oxenbury, Rod Campbell and many more.

The exhibition also includes lots of fun interactives and games designed especially for under‑7s including the Bee Calm Spa, Vera’s Veggie Delights Stall, and The Furry Wardrobe.
