Fragments of Time: Naomi Kendrick, Lizzie King, Maggie Thompson, Susan Wright

In their first collaboration, ‘Fragments of Time’ presents work by four female artists brought together through their artistic practice exploring fragility, place, and change.

Naomi works mainly in drawing examining fragility and strength, parental ageing and mortality. Lizzie looks at the floor of the East Wing as a living breathing thing in an immersive soundscape. Maggie explores the area of Greengate in Salford through her laptop, mapping out historic memories. Sue is a printmaker working directly from floors studying how these are shaped over time, how places change over time, how time is fragile.
