Celebrate 180 years of Peel Park

On Saturday 22 August, Peel Park celebrates its 180th anniversary with Our Park, Our Story, part of the Salford 100 cultural programme.

Expect performance, music and spoken word, with Barton Theatre Company, Farnworth and Walkden Brass Band, Maria Angotti, green badge guides and more.

Irlam & Cadishead Festival

Head to Irlam on Sunday 30 August for a free Salford 100 event featuring live music, spoken word and workshops, with Cadishead Public Band, Maria Angotti, Art with Heart and more.

Discover Your Salford 100

Salford Museum & Art Gallery is marking the city’s centenary with Your Salford 100, an exhibition created with 100 groups and individuals from across Salford.

They’ve each selected an object or artwork from the museum’s collection to help tell the story of the city. The exhibition is free to visit and runs until January 2027.

Salford in Focus is an exhibition of experimental photography exploring Salford, running in Irlam from 5 August to 2 October as part of the Salford 100 programme.
