Salford Firework Weekend returns to light up the city’s skies

Salford skies will be filled with colour this bonfire night weekend as the Salford Firework Weekend returns to the city. Local residents can enjoy some autumnal fun for the whole family and best of all, entry to both events is free.
The weekend comprises two separate events complete with firework displays, with Buile Hill Park hosting on Saturday 1 November and the fun then moves to Prince’s Park, Irlam on Sunday 2 November.
The fun kicks off from 4pm at Buile Hill Park, with a variety of different activities. There will three separate firework displays throughout the night, ranging from the Little Sparks display, with low level fireworks, suitable for younger children, followed by the bigger Firecracker display and culminating with the main display at 7.30pm.
In addition, visitors can stroll through the park along the Fire Walk, toast marshmallows at our dedicated toasting pits, and enjoy the onsite funfair with rides suitable for all ages and a selection of food and drink options.
In Irlam, Prince’s Park will host the second of the weekend’s events, from 5pm on Sunday 2 November. There’ll be a traditional bonfire, two amazing firework displays, as well as an onsite funfair and food and drink to enjoy.
