Salford 100: The Wagon Train this half-term

Touring Salford neighbourhoods this half-term - Friday 24 October to Sunday 2 November 2025.

Climb aboard the Wagon Train and help shape Salford’s centenary celebrations in 2026. The Wagon Train will reappear next summer as part of a travelling mini festival across the city - but we need your ideas to make it happen. What should take place on or around the Wagon in your community - a fashion show, a band night, a karaoke hokey cokey, a food festival? Where will it go? Who’s involved? How do we celebrate? This is your chance to influence the cultural programme for 2026. If you live, work or play in Salford, come and help Walk the Plank prepare, bring your thoughts, ideas and inspirations.
