RHS Bridgewater turns four
It's been four flourishing years since the Welcome Building at RHS Garden Bridgewater first opened its doors, bringing 154 acres of inspirational horticulture, lakes and woodland to the city. RHS Bridgewater continues to run initiatives that make the garden an accessible, welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.
Extended FREE Tuesdays offer
The popular FREE Tuesday scheme will run until May 2026, ensuring Salford residents can enjoy complimentary entry every week.
£1 tickets for low-income households
As part of the RHS’s nationwide access scheme, anyone in receipt of Universal Credit, Pension Credit or other qualifying benefits - plus up to five accompanying guests - can visit the garden for £1 per person throughout the year.
Enhanced public transport links
From 27 April to 31 August 2025, Bee Network’s route 33 will extend from Manchester city centre via Eccles Interchange, stopping directly outside the Welcome Building every 30 minutes between 9.30 am and 4 pm (to 2 pm on weekdays until 19 July). Visitors arriving by public transport receive a 30% discount on admission.
Find out more about tickets and how to get to the garden on the RHS Bridgewater website.
