Two Artists, One City: Peter James Houghton and Anthony McCarthy

This exhibition celebrates Salford through a series of paintings by local artists Anthony McCarthy and Peter James Houghton.

They both have deep rooted connections with Salford and have witnessed the city’s changing landscape over the past 20 years.

Peter’s paintings find beauty in the mundane, neglected and overlooked parts of Salford, while Anthony’s work is influenced by another local artist, LS Lowry, and captures both the people and the architecture found throughout the city.

On display in the Park Gallery. FREE.
