Swinton Sounds is back with a full weekend of free live music and pop-up events across the town. Friday 30 May to Sun 1 June 2025

Returning for its third year, Swinton Sounds is back with another weekend of FREE pop-up music, performance and fun, taking audiences on a journey spanning the park, the pub, the precinct, and the town’s Grand Palais. No tickets needed, just turn up!

Free community Zine making workshop for musical souls with The CALL Collective

Learn how to design & create your own personal zine

Kick things off with a dancefloor-filling set from Manchester’s own Untold Orchestra - a unique five-piece ensemble reimagining classic dancefloor anthems with a funky twist.

Swinton Square will be buzzing with talent, hosted by the fabulous Judy Brush, featuring live sets from Yemi & The Jam Jivers, Kiké, Amatiime, and DJ crew Good Afternoon.

Families can enjoy interactive street theatre from Walk the Plank, plus hands-on workshops with Manchester’s Little Artists and Arts Let Loose.

Evening vibes take over The Swinton Hop House and The Wobbly Stool, where you can catch sets from Evie Moran, Mathew Kerry, Bennettiscoming, Rory Green, Isaac Malibu, and Alf Whitby.

•    Sunday 1 June, 1pm to 5pm, Victoria Park

Head to Victoria Park for an uplifting afternoon hosted by Jenna G, featuring Sens Sagna & The Kajamor Family, genre-blending band Madame Claude, and the ever-glamorous Ghetto Fabulous.

Expect live DJ sets, family-friendly catwalk shows, and a colourful parade led by Stealing Sheep’s iconic marching band. Plus, creative workshops with Clay Life, face painting, and well-being activities from Salford Mad Pride.

Food & Drink

Tuck into tasty street-food and enjoy a drink from some of Swinton’s best bars. The Hive community hub will also be open throughout the weekend for refreshments.
