A visit to Worsley can be the perfect day out whatever the reason - one of the main joys of the village is simply strolling around admiring the architecture, walking alongside the world famous Bridgewater Canal or exploring beautiful Worsley Woods. Worsley hides a fascinating heritage too though so look out for the brown plaques, browse the heritage section of this website or follow the route of the self-guided heritage trail.
The village's restaurants and pubs make it an ideal place to visit for Sunday lunch with the papers, afternoon tea or a romantic meal for two. Or if you're into sport the local golf courses are well worth a visit.
