Blackleach Country Park

60% green space. The Lake District? Cornwall? Northumberland? Nope - 60% of Salford is green space. Amazing isn't it? That's nearly 2/3 of the city. Don't believe us? The only way to be convinced is to get out there and explore it for yourself! With three green flag parks, five local nature reserves, and over 20 public parks there's plenty to keep you occupied.

Loose yourself in Clifton Country Park's meadows, play hide and seek in Worsley Woods, turn cartwheels in the fields at Blackleach Country Park, enjoy a brass band concert with an ice cream in the summer at Victoria Park,  get out into real wilderness at Chat Moss or simply relax, breath in the air, feel the sun on your face and forget about that hectic city life for a while...
