Ordsall Hall

By car
The hall is situated in the Ordsall District of Salford on Ordsall Lane, near to Salford Quays. The hall is signposted from most major roads in the area and is less than one mile from the end of the M602 motorway. See Manchester A-Z, page 85, grid H6 & H7 or see our maps.

There is a car park in the grounds of the hall.

By bus
Bus route numbers 71, 73, 84 and 92 stop directly outside the entrance to the hall on Ordsall Lane. Any bus to Salford Quays stops on Trafford Road with a walk of around 200 yards. (Get off near the Copthorne Hotel). Bus times can be obtained from GMPTE by telephoning 0161-228 7811 or by visiting the GMPTE web site at www.gmpte.gov.uk.

By Metrolink
Exchange Quay Metrolink Station (on the Eccles Line) was opened on the 6th December 1999 and is just a couple of hundred yards from the hall. The Metrolink gives easy access to the hall from Manchester city centre (including Piccadilly railway station) and from all stations on the Bury, Altrincham and Eccles lines.

From Exchange Quay station walk away from Salford Quays along Ordsall Lane and we are just past the entrance to Colgate Palmolive on the left hand side of the road.

By train
The hall is 1.5 miles from Deansgate Station and 1.7 miles from Salford Crescent Station. You can transfer to the Metrolink (see above) at Deansgate, Piccadilly & Victoria railway stations. For rail times phone 0345-484950 or check out Railtrack's web site at www.railtrack.co.uk.
