Information for residents

Salford residents' ticket offer

If you are lucky enough to have a Salford postcode then you will qualify for our special reduced ticket price of £7.50.

The Salford residents' offer is available on a first come, first served basis so make sure you book your tickets early! 500 tickets have been made  available for each of the eight Salford community committee areas.

If all tickets for your area have sold out you will be given an option to be put on a waiting list to see if other tickets become available from areas where the tickets have been less popular.

Claremont & Weaste, Eccles, Swinton and Worsley & Boothstown areas have now sold out for the residents ticket offer. If you live in any of these areas you can be added to a waiting list or to avoid disappointment there are still some £20 tickets available to book.

If you live close to Buile Hill Park

Although live music concerts in Buile Hill Park are exciting for most people, we appreciate that some of us need a little warning and more information about what is happening.

The concert will take place between 7.30 and 9.30pm on Saturday 13 September and will be organised by Salford City Council. With such a large orchestra playing on a big stage, lots of preparation needs to be done. This will mean some areas of the park will be closed to the public from 9.00am on Thursday 11 September until 12 noon on Monday 15 September.

We have asked all contractors to ensure there is no noise before 9.00am or after 10.00pm each night.

There may be an increase in traffic or crowds near your home around 6.00pm and again at 10.00pm. We have brought in a traffic management company to work with the local police to keep disruption to a minimum. We are allowing car parking in the event field at the front of Buile Hill Hall; we are doing this to reduce the chance of people parking outside your home.

We would also like to alert pet owners that there will be 10 minutes of fireworks at approx 9.30pm.

If you have any more questions about the event and how it will affect you please call 0161 793 2433 during office hours or email christine.howard@salford.gov.uk. Christine will also be available at the event information point on the day of the event between 10.00am-4.00pm.
