The Quays

Buile Hill Park is within striking distance of The Quays - Greater Manchester's waterfront. Come along early and spend the day exploring venues such as The Lowry, Imperial War Museum North and Ordsall Hall or do a bit of pre-concert shopping at The Lowry Outlet Mall.

Food and drink

If you're not planning to bring a picnic to the proms, or if you want to come along early for lunch beforehand Salford has a host of familiar and independent restaurants and pubs to satisfy all appetites. The Quays has Lime, Pond Quay, Cafe Rouge, Pizza Express, The Terrace Restaurant and the food court in the Lowry Outlet Mall to choose from or nearby Eccles offers the renowned Pacifica restaurant and popular Smiths Bistro.

Accommodation

If you want to enjoy your time at the proms even more, why not stay over at a nearby hotel to avoid having to worry about driving home after the concert?
