	Salford Lads' Club (map ref 8) Iconic venue made famous by The Smiths - is now a working lads and girls club but is open to the public for regular events and open days. St Ignatius Walk Salford Lancashire M5 3RX Tel: 0161 872 3767
	Blueprint Studios (map ref 10) Many famous faces have recorded at these Salford studios, including recent Mercury award winning Elbow. 	Salford Quays (map ref 15) Current home to The Lowry, Lowry Outlet Mall, Imperial War Museum, Manchester United and future home of MediaCityUK, there's always something going on at The Quays. www.thequays.org.uk
	Salford University (map ref 17) The Arts Unit at Salford University organises a number of regular music events including lunchtime recitals, big band concerts and pop gigs at a range of venues, including Maxwell Hall and nearby Old Pint Pot pub. 	St Philip with St Stephen Church (map ref 20) Designed by Sir Robert Smirke in 1825, the building' Greek style is unique in the city. 	Islington Mill (map ref 24) Home of the Ting Tings, but so much more besides, Islington Mill is the base for dozens of artists, photographers, filmmakers and more. The mill holds regular gigs, exhibitions and events. James Street Salford M3 5HW Tel: 07947649896
