The Arts Unit at Salford University organises a number of regular music events including lunchtime recitals, big band concerts and pop gigs at a range of venues, including Maxwell Hall and nearby Old Pint Pot pub.

Islington Mill

Islington Mill (map ref 24)
Home of the Ting Tings, but so much more besides, Islington Mill is the base for dozens of artists, photographers, filmmakers and more. The mill holds regular gigs, exhibitions and events.

The Lowry

Buile Hill Park mansion

Beautiful park in the heart of Salford - as well as regular activities and events, including the annual Bonfire Night, Buile Hill was most recently the venue for the spectacular Proms in the Park in Salford.
