2007

Spaniard Javier Gomez, the world number 1, recorded his fifth World Cup win, and 11th World Cup podium finish in a row at the 2007 event. Whilst World Champion, Vanessa Fernandes of Portugal had spectacular win in the women's elite race.

Commonwealth Champion Brad Kahlefeldt of Australia won a spectacular men’s elite race in 2006 and Sam Warriner of New Zealand won the women’s elite race.

Elite men's winner: Fredrick Beaubre (FRA)

2004

Elite men's winner: Maik Petzold (GER)

Elite women's winner: Michelle Dillon (GBR)

2003

Elite men's winner: Andrew Johns (GBR)

Elite women's winner: Pip Taylor (AUS)

Vanessa Fernandes, winner 2007 commented: "The win wasn’t easy, but I enjoyed it. I was expecting a good run from some of the other girls, but I was better than them today. I’ll definitely come back here in the lead up to 2012. It’s important to prepare for the weather and the conditions."
