It's worth a visit just to sit outside and admire the vision in metal and glass that is The Lowry. But you'd be missing out on a whole world of entertainment inside, so step in and take your pick from the world of entertainment within.

Admission to the building and galleries is free.

The Lowry's three diverse theatre spaces offer a perfect setting for everything from community performances to The Bolshoi Ballet! The Lyric Theatre is the biggest of the theatres and plays host to West End musicals, dance extravangazas and the annual pantomime. The more intimate Quays Theatre welcomes touring companies, comedians and live music, while The Studio is a flexible space able to host workshops, amateur performances and film screenings.
