Terms and conditions of entry
If you are preparing to come to BBC Proms in the Park in Salford, please note the conditions of entry for the event below. Please read carefully, as failure to follow these terms and conditions may result in non-entry to the event.
- The special circumstance of this event allows alcoholic drink to be brought into the arena in reasonable quantities. Hot and cold food and drink will be on sale at the event.
- As this is an outdoor event please dress appropriately for the weather. For health and safety reasons, we reserve the right to cancel the concert in the event of extreme weather conditions.
- The concert takes place in a public park and the ground may be uneven, please take care when walking in and around the arena.
- There will be space on the grass for picnic rugs. No furniture other than a single chair per ticket holder will be allowed. Please be considerate with the positioning of chairs to avoid obstructing the views of others. Chairs will be available to hire at the event.
- The following items will not be permitted – umbrellas, tables, drinking glasses, tins, fireworks, barbecues, flaming torches or other open flame lighting.
- Persons will not be admitted if, in the opinion of stewards, they are under the influence of alcohol or an illegal substance.
- The BBC and Salford City Council reserve the right to refuse admission.
- Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- By entering the venue all ticket holders consent to being filmed or recorded as members of the audience.
- Smoke effects, strobe lighting, lasers and loud noises may be used at the event. Please note there is every likelihood that the sound pressures will exceed 96dB.
- A security search of personal belongings may be carried out at entry points.
- The ticket will not be exchanged or refunded. In the event of resale for profit or commercial gain, this ticket will be void. Tickets will be exchanged or refunded if the concert is cancelled
- Every member of the audience must be in possession of a valid ticket which must be produced to gain entry to the venue.
- The BBC and Salford City Council reserve the right to make any alteration to the advertised details for the performance.
- No dogs other than Assistance Dogs will be allowed.
- The use of photographic or recording equipment by the audience in the venue is prohibited.
