Studio Salford
Another shining example of creativity flourishing in Chapel Street, Studio Salford is an umbrella organisation, based at the fabulous King's Arms Pub on Bloom Street, promoting several in-house independent theatre companies and of course Salford itself!
Recent shows include the award-wining Salford Stuffers, Me and Marlene and Nico Icon Play, while the bi-monthly 'Embryo' nights are the place to come to check out shiny new snippets of works in progress including plays, comedy, video, animation, music, poetry and probably elephant juggling too.
And then why not pop downstairs for pint, jazz night or even a knitting club in the King's Arms too - a more interesting night out you'd be hard pushed to find!
