Salford Sports Village is the latest addition to the city’s leisure scene, offering a fantastic range of sporting and training opportunities for everyone.
Football
The site boasts several grass football pitches, two 3rd generation synthetic pitches and a grass practice area. The pitches are floodlit and provide outdoor use in all weathers for those wanting to fine tune their skills, whether it's competitive or simply for fun.
As well as offering the opportunity to hire the pitch privately, Salford Community Leisure and Manchester FA provide organised coaching sessions and courses. These sessions cater for all ages and abilities, offering the highest standard of instruction. It is the perfect place for young talent to be nurtured and the next Wayne Rooney to be discovered…
Salford Sports Village is also the home to the hugely popular Salford Mini Soccer Festival.
Facilities
For those wanting to develop their mind as well as their body, there is an Information Communication Technology (ICT) suite located on the first floor of the building. It has over 20 computers and is equipped with adaptive hardware and software to assist individuals with visual impairments and disabilities. There’s also a community room and bar, available for corporate hire and areas perfect for meetings, activity sessions and courses.
