Salford City Reds RLFC are the city’s premier rugby league team, celebrating their recent Super League licence which will see them playing in the top flight again next season.
Salford City Reds have been scrumming down in the city since 1873, and have been stalwarts of the top leagues ever since. They currently play their home fixtures at The Willows in the heart of Salford, but plans are in place to move to a brand new bigger and better stadium at Barton within the next few years. With a passionate and faithful set of fans, it’s all about the oval ball at The Willows ground and that's set to continue into an even more successful future.
This season, sees their triumphant return to the Super League, with a squad packed with a mixture of the best local players, international talent and seasoned professionals. Captained by the mighty Malcolm Alker, there will be trys aplenty down at The Willows, so make sure you don’t miss out.
