Queer Up North Festival

This year's queerupnorth festival came to a spectacular finale on Sunday 25 May with the world-renowned Stephen Petronio Company performing a UK premiere at The Lowry.
200 lucky Salford residents snapped up special £5 tickets to watch a unique dance performance set to specially commissioned music by Rufus Wainwright, Fischerspooner and Antony and the Johnsons.
The Stephen Petronio company also ran a number of exclusive workshops with Salford dance groups while they were in the UK and Coronation Street's Antony Cotton also showed his support for the event by meeting some of the young people involved in the programme.
