The city of Salford covers 37 square miles and has 5 districts : Salford, Eccles, Worsley, Irlam & Cadishead and Swinton & Pendlebury.
So whilst you're exploring our exciting city why not take some time out for some retail therapy as we have shops to suit everyone's needs in Salford.
Out of town shopping lovers can find solace in Worsley and Monton. You’ll not only discover picturesque villages, but also a variety of unique boutiques and shops mingled amongst fantastic restaurants and pubs. So head to the villages to find the perfect gift for any occasion.

If it's markets you're into then don't forget to check out our three main markets:
- Swinton Market - located on The Market Square in Swinton Shopping Centre, Chorley Rd, Swinton. The general market is open 9.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. and on Wednesday – second hand market 9.00 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
- Eccles Market - located on The Mall in Eccles Shopping Centre, Church St and is open 9am- 4.30pm every day except Wednesdays and Sundays.
- Salford Market - the open air market is located at Salford Shopping City has over 100 stalls on offer. The market is open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a 'flea' market on Thursdays and car boot sales on a Sunday.
