Real Radio Party on ice
This year we're teaming up with Real Radio to bring a special Party on Ice to the Salford Ice Rink. Presenter Jo Lloyd, Santa, Barry the Bassett and the Real Radio street crew will be heading down to the Salford Ice Rink on Saturday 19 December. Join us for an afternoon of skating fun, music, giveaways and an exclusive competition for the whole family. All fun starts from 1.00pm until 3.00pm, so get there early to catch all the action and be part of our Party on Ice.

Santa skating sessions
Santa will be making a special stop off in Salford to test out his skating skills at the Salford Ice Rink. He'll be making a number of special visits to the city's ice rink this year as he prepares for his busiest day of the year. Santa who is used to skating at his home near the North Pole, will be on the ice throughout the week.
In the week leading up to Christmas, he'll be getting his skates on in between loading his sleigh at the following times:
Sunday 20 Dec: 12.30 & 13.15, then 14.45, 15.30 & 16.15
Monday 21 Dec: 13.15 & 14.00, then 15.30 & 16.15
Tuesday 22 Dec: 13.15 & 14.00, then 15.30 & 16.15
Wednesday 23 Dec: 13.15 & 14.00, then 15.30 & 16.15
Children and adults alike can come along and enjoy seeing if Santa really can skate. Don't miss your chance to join Santa on the ice for a special skating session at the Salford Ice Rink.
Seniors only sessions
Who says skating is just for kids? This year for the first time ever, we're offering exclusive skating sessions for the over 60s. These seniors only sessions take place on Tuesdays 8, 15, 22, 29 of December and 5 January at 3.00pm. So come along and take a glide down memory lane on the ice. With hot and cold food & drinks available on site, it's an ideal get together for the young at heart.
