There are guided walks throughout the year with special interest walks looking at industrial history and natural history to longer walks for those who want to stretch their legs a little bit more. Most walks are family friendly and some are aimed specifically at children like treasure hunts.
The annual Heritage walks programme offers you the chance to exercise both mind and body on a series of inspiring and informative guided walks around the city, while our country parks offer a year round programme of walks for all levels.
