Eccles Caketail

Give this delicious cocktail a go, designed to compliment Eccles Cakes perfectly.

Eccles CakeTail - created by Dave Marsland, Drinks Enthusiast  

You will need:

- a glass
- a jam jar.  


  • 60ml El Dorado 5yr rum
  • 30ml cold water
  • 25ml sugar syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Fentimans Ginger Beer  


Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice (minus the ginger beer). Fine strain into an ice filled jam jar (making sure the grains of nutmeg and cinnamon do not come through) and top with Fentimans Ginger Beer. Enjoy!
