Eccles welcomed its first Farmers Market back in February this year and since then it has grown increasingly popular, so much so, that there is now one every third Saturday of each month.Recently, local artist Bee Morrison sketched the market which is a perfect way to capture and celebrate the produce on offer.
The market boasts a wide ranging selection of local produce ranging from homemade sausages, salami, preserves, pies, cakes,cheeses,ostrich meat and lots more. So why not sample some of the culinary delights and add some spice to your pallette by trying some interesting ingredients that will be fresh and all within an easy reach. Local food never tasted so good-try it and you'll see!
