Bonfires and fireworks

Salford's skies light up each year when we celebrate Bonfire Night.

This year, Salford City Council is hosting two exciting free family bonfire and firework events.

It works closely with the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) to provide these safe family friendly events.

Irlam Fireworks Friday 3 November 2017

Buile Hill Park Bonfire Sunday 5 November 2017

At the Buile Hill Park event, this year we are also presenting Little Sparks in the Park an additional teatime ten minute sparkling firework show at 5.30pm for families with young children (under 7s).

This year, to ensure plenty of sparkle, these events are also kindly supported by a range of Salford partners in the city: City West housing trust, Salix HomesSalford Community Leisure, Quays Culture, The Lowry, University of Salford, LPC Living, Urban Vision and Claremont and Weaste Community Committee.

Firework events at other venues in the city include the City Airport on Sunday 4 November.
