As Seen IN Salford
Back for a ninth year, the As seen IN Salford competition has once again showcased the talent and passion of the city's amateur photographers and highlights what a great city Salford is to capture.
Residents and visitors alike have been snapping away all year looking for the perfect shot of Salford. As ever, we had a fantastic response to the competition.
Thanks to all those who voted for their favourite photos. The selection of shortlisted images were exhibited at Salford Tourist Information Centre where you could vote for your favourites, or you could vote online.
The winners
Judges selected an overall winner, second and third place and this year there was also a highly commended image. The People's Choice winner is voted for at Salford Tourist Information Centre by the public and there's also a online winner who bagged the most online votes. Winners were presented with their prizes at Salford Tourist Information Centre by Cllr Ann-Marie Humphreys, Assistant Mayor for Culture.
